Mission
New Paradigm Dance Theater develops creative artists and thinkers of the future by creating an artistic environment where dancers and choreographers can be vulnerable, question and break assumptions, and focus on creating their own pathway to artistry.
Vision
Our vision for New Paradigm is to have separate productions/programs for youth, adaptive, and adult companies with opportunities to collaborate with each other. We would love to have the ability to learn with and from each other to deepen our community connection and love for dance.
About New Paradigm Dance Theater
Co-Artistic Directors Julia Wilkinson Manley and Chris Harris have extensive experience directing both adult productions and student performance companies. New Paradigm Dance Theater will combine professionalism with a safe, non-judgmental, dancer-based focus. Fostering artistic expression, vulnerability, and creativity, our goal is to create beautiful, intellectually stimulating and enjoyable art to bring our audiences along with us in our explorations.
NPDT is the non-profit affiliate of our sister organization, Colorado Movement Lab (CML). NPDT dancers take part in CML classes and workshops, and they perform in school-wide CML productions. NPDT will provide financial aid for community members who would otherwise not be able to afford to study dance, and they will provide community education and educational performances in area schools.
Our three companies are training programs where dedicated students are given the opportunity to learn, rehearse, and perform classical ballet, contemporary, and modern works set by the artistic directors and guest choreographers. But in reality, our creations will not be limited by style and technique. Let’s expand our definitions of dance!

Our members work very hard, both physically and mentally, and they learn that hard work and fun can be synonymous.
